Are you in a relationship or currently finding yourself
fighting for his attention?..... It’s hard; you have built feelings upon flesh
for someone who could care less about your feelings. You kept holding on
because you believed that God will open his man’s heart to allow him to see
you….. Deep down inside you know that God wouldn’t want you to be in a
relationship of guilt, heart or shame. You know that this man will never
change. You don’t have any authority to change him. You can pray for him,
encourage him all day long but a man who isn’t after Gods heart will never
fully acknowledge you. God wouldn’t want you to be with anyone who isn’t aligned
with him or in your purpose. Women of God, do you know who God has called you
to be? Worry not, fear not…
I am currently reading “So
you want to be married Volume II,” by Cornelius Lindsey. (A must read
for singles, engaged and married couples) As a believer I encourage you to read
this book, it speaks to you and it teaches you who you are in Christ as a
single. It is a must read! It speaks on (singles) not chasing marriage but
waiting. Just because your friends are dating and in relationships, trust me
they are still unhappy. They suffer because God is not there; he is not in the
relationship. Too many times I see, women being the (men) in relationships. I
saw (myself) being men in a relationships 10-12 times and so on. We are putting on the
pants instead of wearing the skirts. We have refused to let go and let God. We
have formed singleness as being alone. It may seem lonely but we are not alone.
Singleness is ministry! God is forming you for a Godly union. Let’s use are
singleness wisely.
It is most important that we get involved in church, helping
change this world, spreading the good news and chasing the Lord. Let’s not get
bound up in our flesh and sexual urges that make us impure and makes us turn
from God. Refuse to date men who are not aligned with the Lord. Let’s refuse to
date people just because... refuse the free meals. (Yes I said it...) Refuse
the free meals... LOL! I’ve been there and it’s nothing worse than leading
someone on. Also if you don’t feel like there is purpose in the date don’t go!
Don’t use people. They have feelings
too. Let’s do more to help the body of Christ, instead of abusing it lets get
active. Stop waiting, the Lord is waiting on us.
Let’s not abuse or misuse our calling.
Love the lord and most importantly love yourself but Love
God above all else.
I love
you tons, I want Gods best for you, let’s get ready and get equipped for the
missions ahead. Love you readers.
