The P.O.G, “The presence of God,” is the
most overwhelming feeling, it is beyond human explanation. As described in Acts
2:16, “A mighty rushing wind.” A mighty rushing wind is strong, it is swift and
it is quick. That is exactly how God is. He is strong, swift and powerful. The
presence of God is serious. God was present with Daniel in the Lion’s Den. Can
you imagine what that felt like? What about when God was present with Moses and
The Israelites. He spoke with them and led them physically. He was present with
Adam. Just think God is everywhere. God
is omnipresence. God is everywhere. He desires for us to be exactly where he
is, right under his wing under the shadow of the almighty.
God dwells
within us. Have you ever been around someone who has been dedicated and devoted
to God? Just knowing that God walks with them and speaks with them on a daily
basis is awesome. The same way he is walking and speaking with us. The Holy
Spirit is an eternal presence because he lives in us. So when we are sleeping he
is up. When we are crying he is there. He feels everything that we feel. He is everywhere;
he goes where we go, imagine that. The Holy Spirit enables us to speak directly
to God from our hearts because he knows exactly what is there and what is in
there. “R.T Kendall, author of 40
days with the Holy Spirit, Says that the bible states that God is
eternal.” Our evidence is (Deut. 33:27) “the eternal god is your refuge and
underneath are the everlasting arms.” The Holy Spirit is truth, he teaches us
truth and he teaches us gentleness. That is a perfect example of presence. It
is creeping but not creepy. It is gentle, swift and quick. Almost often God
will let you know he is there. He is not like satan. He is awesome. God’s
presence is not really defined by words. It is defined by love. The way he
loves us is through his presence.
My
personal experience.
My personal
experience with God made me who I am today. It made me a true believer of
Christ. It was a strong experience. In that instance within those seconds I knew
that there was a God. He knew me and he called me long before my mother’s womb.
I was shocked and sort of disappointed in myself because God had to get my
attention this way, with being so in love with the world at that time. I
thought, “Shame on Me.” My spiritual mentor Bishop Lloyd, told me NO! Why, why
should you be ashamed? Be grateful, be Happy. Is this you? Did you feel like
wow! God took his time but I was so disobedient. I ran from God. Never run! God
is swift and quick and we most always will lose against him. My experience made
me in line with God. Meaning I knew him
in a way like never before. His presence at that time I literally have no words
to say. Sometimes God is too big, too awesome for words. I will never forget my
experience, knowing that we are living in the last days encourages me. Knowing that
Jesus is coming back for me and my very own soul is awesome. Do you feel
different when you are with some of your friends? Do you feel unique when you
are with them? That is the presence of God. How unique you are. God is calling you
that is his way of letting you know that you belong to him. You don’t belong to
yourself; you don’t belong to satan, not your mother, not your significant
other, But God. God longs for me. He longs for you, he longs for our very own
soul. Through Jesus I live. Through Jesus I love. Through Jesus I breathe.
Through Jesus I am reminded of why he died on the cross. Through Jesus I love
and I learn to love more.
Grow with God
family of Christ. Live with him eternally right now, cry out to him.
I love you, God
says. Go Free!
