We need God
to open our spiritual hearts. Yes, you have a spiritual heart. “Why?” because
true forgiveness lies there. God can see our hearts beyond the human eye. Every
time we hurt God hurts. Yes, he has that type of connection and relationship
with us, we are connected to him. He designed us after all.
Have you ever been angry have you ever wondered why you
never stopped hurting? This is because you refused to forgive. You cannot truly
forgive, unless you confess, repent and confess that you forgive him or her
that hurt you. You must also confess over that situation that brought you to
the pain that you are experiencing. Pray for God to open your heart. Submit to
Jesus. <3
It took me forever to truly forgive my friends for
abandoning me or ending our friendship. My mentor told me constantly that they weren’t
going where God was taking me, me being anew in Christ and stubborn it took me
a while to grasp that. The issue with me was God designed me to love; he
designed me with a humble heart. It became so hard for me to accept rejection. Rejection
is a part of the spirit of fear, they have a connection. Once this spirit attaches
to you, it is hard to break free. You must fast and have a deep prayer life. I had
to confront and face my problems. I had to come face to face with those who
hurt me and those who constantly hurt me. When people hurt me I refused to
forgive them. I tried my best to stay away from them and not speak to them. Why
do we choose to not confront our problems? It could be fear or you could even
possibly be stubborn. God really had to break me I had to admit to myself that
I was wrong. Regardless of my hatred, regardless of my shame, I had to forgive
or it would hurt my future relationships. When I finally confessed I became a
true believer of Christ. I became a new.
Every time we confess, we become a new. We are like a tree. We grow and grow and grow in spirit and in love. Hurting is a part of your spiritual growth. This is where Jesus comes in, he allows us to confess our problems as often as we want. He is patient enough to even let us confess when we are ready. Although. We should never be hesitant to confess because tomorrow is not promised.
1 Corinthians 13: 4-8
My very personal quote of this scripture is “Love is patient and Kind.” That’s the thing! God is patient and kind enough to forgive us and he is more than patient enough when we are stubborn to come to him. I truly believe that love is forgiving. How can you love and not forgive to me that is impossible. I want a love so deep that it’s easy for me to forgive and move on. Of course it will take me a couple of days to recuperate but the most important part was to FORGIVE. I ask of you tonight, what are you holding on to that you haven’t fully forgiven? If you don’t know ask God to show you. Remember he will show you on his time not yours. Speak out. Call whatever it is out loud; break free of this soul tie that has control over your heart. Break free from whatever is controlling your life. If you’re not comfortable with speaking aloud, speak within your heart or in secret prayer or write it out to God like a prayer journal. Remember when you forgive you are to be done with it. What is the purpose of forgiveness if you constantly remind yourself of what has happened? (Waits……) Exactly!!!
Speak & be free tonight.
Live, love and learn.
Love you all,
Malika
