Passion & Purpose on
Sexual Immortality
By:

I
encourage you to find bible verses that speak of sexual immortality and
memorize them and learn them whenever you feel attacked.
1 Thessalonians 4: 3-5 “ For this is the
will of God, your
sanctification: that
you abstain from sexual immorality;4 that
each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, 5 not
in the passion of lust like
the Gentiles who
do not know God”
You may or may not want to admit that you suffer from sexual
immortality. But I beg to differ.
Sexual immortality is a long life sin
that has been on this very earth for ages. And the bible speaks continuously of
this sin. It does as much harm or more as every other sin. Some of us commit
this very sin daily, within our hearts, mind, and hands and with our very own
flesh. We sadden God, we hurt him. (YES! We Hurt him, you must not forget that
God has feelings too.)
If you are a believer such as I you
become sadden afterwards because you feel guilty, you may start to feel a tug
or a nudge on your very heart or maybe even a void because you forgot
something. You had forgotten about God and his desire for you. It simply says, “A
man shall leave his Father and Mother and he shall lay with his wife and they
shall become one flesh!”
You cannot become one with multiple
sex partners although you can create a soul tie, and you cannot become one by forfilling
your own fleshy desires. I once read that Lust becomes
Sin and Sin becomes Death. Which is true, your very own lust
for your sin that you desire can kill you, I don’t want to see any of my loved
ones going to hell and I don’t want to go either.
Living in a fleshy evil desired world
may cause you to think twice about some of your actions. You may even desire to
do what your coworkers may do, and involve themselves in. But as a follower of Christ
how can you help your friend when you are falsely being misled yourself? You
can talk to them but you don’t have to befriend them STAY FOCUSED. It isn’t
hard my friends it’s only hard if we make it. Christ and the Holy spirit are
right there to help you even if you feel alone, don’t let the enemy try and
persuade you to think that you are, get with church members, pray daily, flee
from attacks and try to learn bible verses so when the attacks come you can
recite them verses and flee.
God bless one of my old teachers from high
school I remember like yesterday what she told me, just read a page a day and
if that doesn’t help read it 3 times a day. Get prayer journals, you can even
type on any word documents and save them as journals anything will help.
I have created a small guide below and
I hope you read and enjoy.
v If you don’t have a bible I encourage you to purchase one or
get with a business or church that will donate bibles. You may want to get two
one you can save for special readings and one you can get to highlight special
reminders or verses that will encourage you daily.
v Once you have your own personal bible find a verse that
speaks to your heart not one you have heard someone else mention or a verse
someone else relates too, find that special verse that speaks to you therefore
you will be able to relate to it and it will help you with all of your
temptations.
v Get a personal journal and write to God you can use it to write
to God on a personal level, and later you can go back and read over and see how
far you have grown.
v If you feel yourself getting tempted pray immediately and
flee! Recite that verse you have
learned, Satan has no control over your life only God does.
v If you feel uncomfortable doing this alone remember you are
not, share it with God, share it with a friend, and share it within your heart!
v Last but not least, remember to love yourself your body is
not your own your very spirit is not your own you belong to a Holy God and he
loves you oh so very much.
