Fashion on a Christian Perspective with Iesha Nicole

My sole purpose for interviewing Iesha was to break everyone’s idea of the Great Christian Women. Many of us question ourselves what exactly is okay and what are my limits on dressing being in Christ. What other way to address the subject than interview a Holy Chic herself and get her views on life and how she handles critics in the church! I believe everyone should be inspired by someone or something; most definitely you should be inspired by Christ and his journey! People should be your first ministry of course but your ministry should always start at home be comfortable within yourself before you can teach others!

Good evening Miss Iesha Nicole, thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to answers some question for the viewers of passion and purpose! As we all know you are an Aspiring Image Consultant you carry yourself very well and you are very inspiring! Let’s get to it!

1.      When was your first encounter with God and how did it affect you?

Iesha Nicole: My 1st encounter with God was when I had gotten out of a really bad relationship and was just tired and I got on my knees and cried out & he spoke to me and that changed my life from the way I talk, carry myself & represent him. Those few words changed my life.

2.    What is your relationship like today and how do you deal with staying focused?

Iesha Nicole: Constant prayer. I have to die daily to remain focus.

3.     How do you spend alone time with God and what do you encourage others to do and change with spending time?

Iesha Nicole: I’m really big on praise & worship. I'll plug my headphones in & dance around my room for hours then fall on my face. Those are the times I really hear from God when it’s just me & him vibe'n. I sit & read the word and meditate on it as well! And some days I just sit quietly before him no music no words just silence.

4.    What is your day to day fashion like, what does it consist of?

Iesha Nicole: My day to day fashion is really simple and clean. When I’m going out at night I like more flair and drama.  But I’m down for transitional pieces something that can go from day to night, it’s just so convenient.

5.      How can Christian women throw conservation clothing into their lifestyle and still be fashionable?

Iesha Nicole: There are so many ways for women in Christ to be fashionable. I just want to say this "YOU CAN STILL BE SEXY & FOLLOW CHRIST" so many women in the church think they have to wear long skirts & ill fitted clothing. It’s ok to throw on a freakum dress ok lol you don’t have to show a whole lot of skin to be sexy but it’s ok to wear clothing that makes your body look good! Just remember to dress the person you want to become & not the person you see in the mirror.

6.     How do you feel about insecurities and how would you tell a fellow sister in Christ to deal with as such??

Iesha Nicole:
Give them to God. Quit worrying yourself & just give them to him.

7.      What are some trends you dislike?

 Iesha Nicole:
I’m not really into trends per say. I wouldn't say there are any that I dislike either, there are ones I just wouldn't wear but someone else could pull it off & look absolutely stunning in it.

8.     Last but not least name something that inspires you.

Iesha Nicole: The younger generation. They are our future and they inspire me to build and set an example. So many of them look up to us and I want to one day be a role model for some little girl pursuing her dream!

9.     What is something that God placed on your heart that you would like to share with everyone?

Iesha Nicole: It’s ok not to have it all together. Even in God, nobody has it all together
.

“I like to thank you again for taking the time out to do this interview and I appreciate it”. –MQ

A savior with a child in need

Without asking ... totally unaware or prepared! I heard the lord!  He spoke to me!  Within this time twice, he gave me the best advice!  He saved me when I didn’t know I needed to be and at that very moment he closed the door or something that could have been prolonged for years!  I just pondered in it , still in amazement because he saved me! He saved me from making a huge mistake !!  He told me not to give someone my time! I had given this (person) too much of my time which caused me to miss the lord and it allowed this person to take full advantage of my time most of which I will not be able to get back but just then I could have missed the lord I could have ignored the still small voice but I didn’t.  I really just wanted to share this with you, I don’t want anyone to miss their opportunity with God he truly is a savior rather or not you are in need! He thinks of you first ! Be in peace y’all! 😊 Malik...

How God can bring you through darkness

Imagine locking yourself in a room where there is no windows just dark-warm colored walls, now image closing that door… in comes complete darkness, you can also see this even if you just close your eyes and place your hands over them… (Darkness has no light) but Light will over power darkness and God is gracious enough to bring us out of darkness. ( Darkness can also be a spiritual weight of heaviness ) There is darkness in all sin such as drugs, porn, masturbation, cursing, stealing, lying and etc. (There is access to God through prayer) KJV Acts 5: 31 “Him has God exalted with his right hand to be a prince and a savior for to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.” I remember how I got saved there I was indulging in “weed,” something that I thought could cure my pain and everything that I had been going through. I became addicted to something I saw as small but God saw BIG. Jesus became my center at that very moment I was willing to give my all. I wa...

and your still single?

Long time no Blog…. Although I started working on this very blog a couple of months ago; I took my time to post it! Strangely enough, I feel as though I will serve some purpose to my late blogs... I love writing it’s like my extra niche but do I have the passion for it? Sometimes I do and sometimes I don’t. I like to refer to myself as being super WEIRD. LOL literally! It’s like I blog when I feel the need to or else inspired. I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I’m super sorry to those who have looked forward to my blogs. Though, I had not known it. At times I felt like they weren’t at all great or as though none of you looked forward to reading them. I found that through my deepest feelings God Knew what was best. I am doing this for him and not for my own special gain...
